Working on some lettering for my playing cards. The nine is tricky, because if you it’s fully geometric the area where the loop meets the stem is wider than everything else, which looks funny, but if you fix it, then it’s not fully geometric. I’m not completely sold on the Ks yet either.


Edits: tumblr seems to be scaling my images, and they look awful, but I’m going to bed anyway. Click on them and a lightbox will pop up, they’ll look better.

Also, the middle nine is the standard geometric one. Also also, any changes to the nine will affect the six, because they’re identical — just 180 degrees apart.

Also also also, the styling around the nines actually looks pretty bad, now that I stop and think about that. Woops. Sorry. I’ll fix that later.
